DeepWater Creek Group, made of clear patinated agate, KRF and red chert. These three points were all found within a 20 foot radius of one another and are almost certainly part of the same kill site.... being I haven't found any other Deepwater Creek points anywhere near the location. The white point is one of the best I've encountered so far. A very hard point type to come across, even up here in it's distribution area. The white point measures a hair under two inches in length and is extremely thin. $640.00
8 Core Blades, made of Knife River Flint. I'm not sure if Core Blades is a very accurate name but that's all I could think of at the time. They were all found within an area of about 10' in diameter. The longest piece is about 3 1/2" long. They are all obviously from the same flint core and were most likely destined to be made into smaller sized points and tools (scrapers?). One looks a lot like a scraper in fact. I just thought they were some really neat pieces. All are about the same size. $50.00
3 13/16" Uniface Blade, made of Knife River Flint. I found this piece today and that was it. I believe it to be Paleo but hey, I didn't find it right next to a Clovis point and I didn't dig it out of the ground 10' down so I can't say for sure that it is. A lot of Paleo sites produce blades like this though and of the same general size. The work on the cutting edge is covered with caliche. It has a small notch worked into the end opposite the bulb of percussion, maybe used as a spokeshave but I don't know there again.$75.00 reduced again
1 13/16" Scottsbluff Knife, made of Knife River Flint. The stem has some heavy grinding on it and has the same basal thinning as all Cody Complex points have. Just kind of beat up.$175.00 reduced, Again!
2 5/8" Fluted Knife, made of Knife River Flint. Has one really nice flute on one face but nothing on the other as far as fluting goes. You can still the fluting platform at the center of the base for the flute to be taken off the other face.$200.00, Reduced
